‘Salsa’ is nothing but a sauce used to impart the right taste and flavour to specific dishes (sauce is ‘Salsa’ in Spanish). It can be extremely hot or mild, depending on your requirement. There are varieties of salsa that can be prepared. The salsa that I am preparing below comes close to ‘Pico de gallo’ or ‘Salsa roja’ which are the popular 2 varieties of salsa. Salsa can be cooked or made with raw vegetables. The below recipe is with the latter. A very easy, no cook , yet lip smacking salsa dip.
This goes well with Burritto or Nacho or any wraps.
For quick veggie burrito , refer to Chapathi Veggie Burrito
In the above recipe, you may replace chapathi with tortillas if required. But trust me, it tastes the best with chapathis.
